Flexible Impeller Pumps
Flexible Impeller Pumps (FIPs) are self-priming, positive displacement pumps which use flexing blades, rotating within a chamber to create a vacuum to draw fluid into the pump and then compress the fluid to expel the fluid under increased pressure delivering a continuous even flow. FIPs are well known for their easy, low-cost servicing and simple maintenance.
FIPs can handle fluids with varying viscosities and also permits the passage of solids and abrasives and mixed air-fluids, making them widely used in industries and applications such as agricultural spraying, oil & diesel drainage and transfer, waste and water treatment, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, coolant and anti-freeze transfer, and general industry.
